Xentry 2014.09 for C3 Multiplexer

Price
CHF 35.00

You will receive Xentry / DAS 2014.09 including key generator for activation / licensing and fixes. This version is the last version which is still compatible with a Multiplexer C3.

Complete diagnosis of all MB cars and vans built since 1989 until 2014 possible.
The system has developer authorization (developer mode) and therefore offers extended functions (e.g. TV activation while driving, etc.)
DAS Diagnostics is password-free, i.e. special unlocking and coding can be carried out without entering a password (e.g. unlocking the airbag control unit, changing the air conditioning temperature and fan stages, etc.)
DAS Diagnostics can be started as a standalone version without Xentry.
Simulation mode is supported

The installation of Xentry 09.2014 is challenging, but definitely doable with a bit of patience. In the features you can see the installation instructions so that you can estimate how the installation will work.

Functions:

  • For cars, trucks, buses, vans, Smart cars, Sprinters, industrial machines etc. built from 1989 to the present day
  • Test all electrical systems

  • Reading data from sensors in real time
  • Testing all components of the car
  • Coding and programming

Windows XP SP3

RAM: 4GB

Partition Minimum Sizes
C: 20 GB
D: 5 GB
E: 40–60 GB
F: 35 GB
G: CD/DVD drive, but not necessarily required

If you want to install SD, WIS, EPC, and SD Media, the drive must be at least 120 GB.
If it is larger, you should not assign more than 120 GB, then there will be no problem with the partition check.
If the drive is larger, the rest over 160 GB should remain unallocated. You can then assign it to partitions after installation.

I basically work with DVD images and mount them with Alcohol52%, which is freeware.

Drive letters can be changed as follows:
Start > My Computer (RIGHT-CLICK) > Manage > Disk Management

NEW INSTALLATION when no old version is present on the computer

1. Install WinXP SP3

2. Run newguid2j > Prebare.bat

3. Check if Compact4 is listed in the Registry. If not, add it manually.

4. To obtain APP ID 253, copy the program Vboxservice.exe into the Startup folder
   and double-click it to start.

5. Run 5011 Fix, and if necessary, set permissions in the registry to Full Access for “Everyone”.
I always do this for the main key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

6. Do not enter the DAS and XENTRY key yet; it will be requested during installation.
Normally, the StartKeyCenter will start automatically. Sometimes it doesn’t work.
Then confirm the message 3 times and the installation will abort. In that case, start
the Starutilities program located on the desktop and enter the Xentry key. Then restart the setup.

7. Simply run the program gerd123 by double-clicking it; it will just flash briefly.
   Nothing else will be visible.

8. Insert DVD1.
   DVD > stardiag > setup.exe
The computer may restart; then you need to run setup.exe again! And also run the program gerd123.
   DO NOT RESTART NOW

9. Now run “after installation.bat”. Then click exit, and the computer will restart.

10. Insert DVD2 and again run setup from stardiag!
If the installation does not complete without errors, Xentry will not be installed.
Simply restart the setup from DVD2 again.

11. DO NOT CLICK FINISH YET but go to the folder C:\Windows\ZAK\Starshell and delete or rename the program
Starshell.exe—but only if you want the normal XP interface.
If you don’t, you’ll have a limited user interface.

12. Now run “after installation.bat” again. Then click exit, and the computer will restart.

13. If the gray screen at startup bothers you, disable the service SUSservice.
You can find it via Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
Then run the registry fix from the SDNC folder.

For an update-only version, processing DVD2 is skipped.
