This error occurs because the software cannot clearly read the MAC address (LAN ID) of your network card. Virtual or hidden network cards are usually the cause.
Uninstall hidden/virtual network adapters (most common cause)

Open Device Manager:
Right-click on "This PC"→Manage→Device Manager -
Show hidden devices:
Click onView→Show hidden devices -
Uninstall the following drivers (if present):
Go toNetwork adapters→ Right-click on each entry →Uninstall device:-
All entries containing "WAN Miniport"

"Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface"

"Microsoft 6to4 Adapter"

RESTART your computer
Keep only one network card active

Disable Wi-Fi if you are using LAN (and vice versa)

Disable VPN adapters (e.g., Cisco, NordVPN)

Disable virtual box adapters (e.g., VirtualBox Host-Only)
Manually enter LAN ID in the registry

Navigate to:

Create a new String value:

Name:
FixedLanId -
Value: Your MAC address without hyphens (e.g.,
A1B2C3D4E5F6)

In the black window type:
ipconfig /all -
Look for "Physical Address" of your ACTIVE network card (LAN or Wi-Fi)

Write down the characters WITHOUT hyphens, e.g.,
